Greetings from Hollywood, SC. Another beautiful
day - sunny and 70. Great for all of
our outdoor projects.
The crew working on
the skirting at the Smiley home finished
up today and the front porch screening
project should be completed tomorrow. The
combined efforts of our carpenters and painters
have made things move along real well.
The attic stairway is moving along slowly
but should also be completed tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the crew working on the ramp project at Duffy's is
making great progress as well. All of the
projects have experienced one sort of blunder or another, but
nothing serious.

Our usual Seafood Jamboree that we normally attend on Tuesday
night was cancelled. Rural Mission director, Linda Gadson was
hospitalized and her prognosis should be ok. We ask you to keep
her in your prayers also.
The food has been good. Everyone pitches
in to cook, clean up or wherever they are
needed. Since we may be wrapping up some of our projects tomorrow,
we may be adopting
an additional project involving an older
home in need of major repair due to water damage. We will be assessing
that project
in the morning and will have more to tell
you on that later.
Supper and devotions are over and most of the
gang is involved in a silly
word game. Sounds like they are really
having fun - and they deserve it after
the work they accomplished during the last two days. Well, it's getting late and we have an
early start in the AM as usual, so I will
sign off for now. May God bless and continue
to watch over all you, us, our families
and those here in SC that we serve. Until
next time.
