Saturday,
May 2nd
The team that was traveling home arrived
safe and sound in Endicott late afternoon.
Family enjoyed greeting their missionaries
and look forward to hearing about the
trip. Thanks to all who have been praying
for the team and please continue to keep
Doug, Liz, Peter and Josephine in your
prayers as they continue their work at
the clinic. We will continue to post
any updates Doug is able to send.
Friends
As I type this, I hope the rest
of the group has cleared immigration
and customs
in New York City and is headed home.
Liz and I do miss them.
We took Peter and Josephine on the short
safari tour. We went to the animal
orphanage, part of the national park
system called Safari walk. Finally
got a picture of a rhino, a white one
at that. Ask Jay for the picture of
his rhino :)
We are going to spend a quiet evening
and Sunday as I reported yesterday.
God Bless you all,
Doug and Liz

Devotion
for Saturday
One of the greatest blessings of experiencing Kenya
is learning from our Christian brothers and sisters there. They
have much to teach us about holding on to faith when life is
difficult- sometimes made more difficult because of being a Christian.
The team will learn much and have much to share when they return
home.
“Return to your home, and declare how much
God has
done for you. ” (Luke 8:39)
Pray that our experience will deepen our faith, and that as the
team returns home, we will be able to effectively communicate
the experience to others.
Pray for Doug and Liz K., Josephine
N. and Peter C.
as they remain
an additional week to serve.
