Saturday, April 25th

We received a brief phone call from Doug Kerr with the following information:

- Everyone is in Nakuru.

- They completed the church Friday afternoon and had a small celebration in the completed Church.

- Saturday they hiked to a lake and saw millions of flamingos and meet with a trader.

- Sunday they will celebrate in worship the newly completed church. All are planning to be part of the worship service. They are hoping to have better internet connection when they return to the hospital and will send more information.

- All is good and God has been looking over the trip. Everyone is doing really, really well.

Devotion for Saturday

We hope to finish construction in the morning and spend the afternoon with the children and adults of the village. For a few short hours we can offer them loving care and attention. In those same few short hours, if we are open to receive, they will offer us gifts as well. How will you come away richer/wiser/more humble than before you went?

Let the little children come to me; do not stop them;
for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs.
” (Mark 10:14b)

Pray that God will teach us about the kingdom of God through these children and those who care for them.

Pray specifically for Ellen T. today.
