Monday, April 20th

Friends,

I just talked to Liz. They arrived at the work site at noon and have basically finished the project. A few details tomorrow then the celebration. They are actually staying in a hotel owned by one of the congregation members. Every one is fine.

It was a busy day at the hospital clinic. Lots of operations to be done tomorrow.

Thank you for your prayers.

Doug

Devotion for Monday

Today we are driving about three hours to Nyahururu, where we will begin work on a two-room school. The foundation and metal frame will already be in place. We will be staying overnight in the homes of the elders of the church.

“And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all,
just as we abound in love for you.”
(I Thessalonians 3:12)

Pray, asking that the team’s gratitude for life’s many blessings will compel them to act on behalf of others who have much less. “Blessed to be a Blessing.”

Pray specifically for Robert P. today.
